megawood® Garden Furniture

Enjoy unforgettable moments outdoors – whether for a relaxed Sunday breakfast, a warm summer evening, or a quiet sunbath. Our megawood® garden furniture combines the natural look of wood with the durability and weather resistance of innovative GCC HOLZart. The seating groups are perfect for social gatherings, while the sun loungers provide maximum comfort for relaxing hours. All furniture comes with a protective polish for transport and initial use, which gradually wears off over time, creating a natural, high-quality patina.

Colour Development & Care

The megawood® garden furnitures are delivered with a polish as initial protection for the first few weeks of use. The polish wears off over time, the surfaces become lighter and develop their own natural patina. Depending on the sunlight, thisprocess of colour development takes 6 to 8 months.

If you prefer the initial darker colour of the furniture, you can restore it by polishing it afterwards. Follow the instructions of the polish manufacturer. As a rule of thumb, use as little polish as possible and polish it in completely until no residue can be seen on the surface.

Environmental dirt such as dust, pollen and water marks are unavoidable and should be removed regularly.

Food and drink stains or grease marks should be removed as soon as possible with an absorbent cloth and water. Any remaining stain marks will fade over time through the effects of sun and rain.

Cleaning & Maintenance

To maintain the beauty and longevity of your megawood® garden furniture, we recommend regular cleaning, ideally when outdoor temperatures are above 15°C.

How to Clean Your Furniture:
    1. Remove dry, loose dirt from the surface.
    2. Water the surface to be cleaned sufficiently and keep it wet for at least 15 minutes.
3.Clean the surface with water and a standard brush. For stubborn dirt, our highly concentrated liquid cleaner GCC Pure Wash can be used (follow the instructions for use).
    4. Rinse the cleaned surface thoroughly with clean tap water and wipe with a rubber lip.

For future disassembly or adjustments:

  • Always leave the GRP locking pins protruding approx. 10 mm.
  • If any locking pins become loose over time, simply reinsert them firmly with a punch to restore stability.

Our garden furniture is made from GCC HOLZart (German Compact Composite) – a wood-based material that looks, feels, and smells like real wood, but it is not just wood.

With up to 75% natural wood content, it retains the warmth and texture of wood while benefiting from modern polymer technology. Thanks to its patented composition, GCC HOLZart is heavier than hardwood and offers a robust, weather-resistant surface. That means our garden furniture remains beautiful, stable, and long-lasting, even after years of outdoor use.
